Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information AERRO (“we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the AERRO app or website (the “Service”) you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information: your email address, which we use to create your account and send you a one-time sign-in code.

Subscription information: your subscription status and plan. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Stripe (web). We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

Usage information: app interactions, device and diagnostic data, and crash logs used to operate and improve the Service.

How we use your information

To provide and secure the Service, authenticate you, deliver and manage your subscription, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and improve features and reliability. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share limited data with vendors that operate the Service on our behalf, including: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (web payments), RevenueCat and Apple (in-app subscriptions), Anthropic (the model that plans the next step for AERRO Hands, described below), Meta (advertising measurement through its SDK in the iPhone app, described below), and our hosting and analytics providers. Each processes data under its own terms and only as needed to provide its service.

AERRO Hands browser extension

AERRO Hands is an optional browser extension (Chrome, Brave, Edge) with a single purpose: to let the AERRO auto-trader carry out the trading tasks you have approved — place, move or close an order, read your positions — on the trading platform you are signed into in that browser, by pressing that platform’s own buttons from your computer. It does nothing until you connect a platform on the Trader page and a task is running.

What it reads: on the platform tab you connected, and only while a task runs, the extension reads the names, roles and current values of the page’s interactive elements (buttons, fields, menus) and its visible text. It never reads the contents of a password field, never signs in for you, and never types a password. It does not read any other tab, your browsing history, or any page on which no task is running.

Where it goes: that page reading is sent to AERRO’s servers, over HTTPS, as the signed-in AERRO user, to decide the next click. The decision is made by an AI model run by Anthropic on our behalf; the model receives the page reading and the task, and nothing else about you. Once a task has been completed on a platform, the sequence of clicks that worked is stored as a “learned path” — the element names and their order, with your order values templated out — and shared across AERRO users of that platform so it can be replayed without a model call. Learned paths contain no account numbers, balances, credentials or personal information.

What we keep: the learned paths above, a per-call usage record (task kind, platform hostname, model usage and cost, timestamp) used to meter your monthly Hands allowance, and the auto-trader’s own log of what it did, which you can see on the Trader page. We do not keep the page readings themselves after the task ends, do not use them for advertising, do not sell them, and do not use them for any purpose other than carrying out and improving the task you asked for.

Your trading platform credentials never pass through AERRO: you sign into the platform yourself, in your own browser, and the platform sees you, signed in, clicking. The extension carries your AERRO session token to our servers only so the request is made as you; it stores nothing of its own. Removing the extension from your browser ends all of the above at once.

Advertising measurement (Meta SDK)

The AERRO iPhone app includes Meta’s software development kit (Facebook SDK for iOS) so that Meta can measure whether its advertising for AERRO leads to installs. The SDK reports app activation events (that the app was opened) to Meta, together with device and app information Meta’s SDK collects for that purpose: an SDK-generated identifier for the installation, the app’s identifier and version, the device model, operating system version, language and time zone, and the network address of the request. These events are used for advertising measurement and campaign optimization on Meta’s platforms.

What the SDK does NOT receive from us: your name, email address, account identifiers, your trades, positions, balances, profit and loss, broker or platform credentials, strategy settings, or purchase details. Automatic logging of in-app purchases and other automatic events is switched off; advertising identifier (IDFA) collection is switched off, and the app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Meta processes the events it receives under its own privacy policy and data policy, which you can read at meta.com/privacy.

Apple’s SKAdNetwork and Meta’s aggregated event measurement are used so that install measurement can happen without identifying you to the advertiser. If we change what the SDK collects, this section and the App Store privacy details will be updated first.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app: Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription — cancel that separately in your Apple ID settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us at the email below.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below and, where appropriate, by notice in the Service.
